CHINA JOURNALIST VISA (TYPE J1-J2)
Chinese Journalist Visa is issued to foreign journalists. J-visa has two categories: J-1 visa: It is issued to resident foreign journalists in China and their accompanying spouses and under-age children. J-2 visa: It is issued to foreign journalists who visit China for temporary news coverage.

Passport validity of at least 6 months for a single entry visa, and 9 months for a double entry visa with two blank pages One recent passport quality photo on a light background (45mm x 35mm) China visa application form Download China visa application form (V2011A) - Click here Applicants for J-1 visa should provide a letter of visa notification issued by the Information Department of the Chinese Foreign Ministry (the media employing the journalist should apply for the visa notification from the Information Department of the Chinese Foreign Ministry). His or her accompanying family members need to provide certificates to prove their status as dependants of the journalist. Applicants for a J-2 visa should provide visa notification issued by competent Chinese authorities.
